Wildlife in Britain Wall Calendar Overview

Become familiar with the wild, elusive creatures we rarely see, with the Wildlife in Britain promotional calendar. Perceptive close-up photos reveal animals, birds, reptiles and butterflies all native to the UK and shown in their natural environment. This adorable business calendar for 2026 also provides enlightening background notes and detailed inset photos on every page.

For instance, we see a kingfisher in flight, catching a fish in one image. With its splendid blue and gold plumage, the kingfisher is seen usually as a sudden flash of blue as it flies low over a river or lake. Hovering with head pointing downwards, it dives into the water to catch fish in its long, pointed bill. Another superb image is of a natterjack toad. This very rare toad breeds in warm, shallow pools on dunes and sandy heaths in just a few places in England and Scotland. They are mainly nocturnal; in the spring, the males may be heard singing together at night to attract females. Smaller than the common toad, with a yellow stripe down its back, it tends to run instead of walking or hopping.
