The Natural World Desk Calendar Overview

The Natural World promotional desk calendar will appeal to all lovers of wildlife with close-up photography that seems to capture the character of each wild creature. Each month there are two contrasting images of wildlife from many of the world’s continents in this attractive business calendar for 2026. Outstanding photos brings the animals up close to us, so we can appreciate all the fine detail.

One image shows a laughing kookaburra. Named after its chuckling voice, a loud koo-koo-kaa-kaa sound, often sung in chorus with others, this is one of four species of kookaburra native to woodland and forests in Australia. Although a member of the kingfisher family, it feeds mainly on insects, small rodents and reptiles, even snakes. Adults pair for life and use the same nest-hole. Another month features brown bears in Romania. Big and powerful, they feed opportunistically and usually alone, using their paws and long claws to root out plants, fruits and insects and to catch fish. Cubs are closely supervised by their mother for 2-3 years, travelling with her over long distances to learn techniques for fishing and finding food, before forging their independence.
