Slimline British Wildlife Calendar Overview

The elusive wild animals, insects and birds native to the British countryside are revealed in the Slimline British Wildlife promotional calendar, a practical space-saving solution. This captivating business calendar for 2026 brings you closer than ever to wild creatures, outstandingly photographed in their natural environment. Some species may be familiar, others less well so, but all can be enjoyed.

In one delightful photo we see a vibrant peacock butterfly which flits about all summer, feeding on flowers such as buddleia, ragwort and mallow. In winter it hibernates in a shed or hollow tree, camouflaged by its folded brown underwings, emerging in spring to lay clumps of eggs on nettle leaves. This attractive butterfly has four eye spots, like peacock feathers, to frighten off predators. Another gorgeous image is of a pretty roe deer, Britain’s smallest and most widespread native deer. Reddy-brown with a white rump, short antlers and no tail, they lead a mostly solitary life, browsing the edges of mixed woodland generally at dawn and dusk. When the fawns are born in summer the doe keeps them well hidden in the undergrowth while she stays close by.
