Scenic World Wall Calendar Overview

The Scenic World calendar presents an array of mesmerising photos of exotic global destinations, an invitation to immerse yourself or an inspiration to set off on a voyage of discovery to these fascinating places.

For instance, Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is photographed on the cover and February's page. One of the largest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia, perched on a hill with panoramic views of the city, it was built in 1987 and is a very elaborate structure with six tiers, imposing pillars, magnificent roofs, ornate carvings, statues and intricate decoration. The front entrance is a multi-arched gateway with red pillars, the colour symbolic of prosperity and good fortune. Viru Gate, Tallinn, Estonia is featured on July's page. This wide and welcoming entrance to the Old Town of Tallinn was built in the 14th century and formed part of its defences. Tallinn was once Europe's greatest fortified city, encircled by walls and 46 towers. There are still about 2km of walls and 26 towers, making Tallinn one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe.
