Rural Britain Note Station Desk Calendar Overview

Focusing on the beauty and scenic contrasts of our natural British landscape, the Rural Britain Note Station desk calendar connects eye-catching locations throughout Britain with the native wildlife which inhabits each environment, often hidden from sight. For each month there are two complementary photos of beautiful locations across Britain and the creatures which inhabit each landscape.

November's page has a photo of the wild moorland landscape of Exmoor, looking towards Dunkery Beacon in Somerset. From Selworthy Beacon, near the Somerset coast, there are fine views of the Bristol Channel. Dunkery Beacon is the highest point on Exmoor, with panoramic views and relics of the Bronze Age dotted around - burial mounds, ancient forts, cairns and barrows. The sleek polecat, now a protected species, is known to inhabit this rugged landscape. Mostly solitary and nocturnal, it preys on small rodents and birds and will often make a den in a rabbit burrow.

The useful sticky-notepads and highlighter pads enhance the appeal of this practical and attractive desk item.
