Rose Calendars wins prestigious award

The 2009 Calendar Awards Program is the industry’s premier competition, recognising the highest quality calendar design and production from all over the world. Rose of Colchester’s leading calendar Ethos received an award for Best Scenic and Other Photography.
Wheaton, Illinois, 2009 Calendar Awards – The results form the Calendar Marketing Association’s 2009 Awards are in now in. Rose of Colchester received the international award for Best Scenic and Other Photography.
The UK was represented well in this international player’s field. Rose of Colchester was the only UK based calendar manufacturer to be judged for this celebrated, industry award ceremony. Rose of Colchester’s title Ethos, won a merit award in the wall calendars division for Best International Scenic and Other Photography.
The outstanding calendar Ethos is one of the company’s best sellers, and clearly an industry favorite around the globe. When Rose of Colchester accepted their reward the company was overjoyed;

The annual Calendar Marketing Association is a high-status event, recognising the world’s top corporate calendar manufacturers. A panel of judges examines and evaluates all entries on the following criteria;
- Quality of artwork, photography and graphics
- Originality of the business calendar
- Readability and information quality of the promotional calendar grid
- Complete execution of the calendar subject or theme
- Fulfillment of the category entered
The Calendar Marketing Association’s 2009 Awards were open to everyone involved in the production, distribution, marketing and manufacture of corporate calendars; including artists, designers, printers and publishers etc.
