Nine to Five Calendar Overview

The Nine to Five business calendar provides a wacky take on scenarios and characters that we can recognise somewhere at work. The series of colourful and wonderfully detailed cartoons in this vivacious and mischievous promotional calendar for 2026 send up different professions and raise a laugh. Quirky characters involved in bizarre workplace dilemmas are the butt of the wisecrack humour and the cartoonist’s vivid imagination.

In one cartoon we see two employees of ‘B Gonn Pest Control’ at work. The junior of the two is running away at top speed pursued by a swarm of angry wasps - he is carrying a jar of jam and is acting as a decoy for the wasps as he is covered in jam. His boss shouts at him from the shed: "That’s great lad, you lead the wasps away and I’ll remove the nest!” Animals and people also appear in the cartoon: three dogs watching from the van, a fox running across the road, a huge worm coming out of the lawn, angry with two young blackbirds and a lady at a bus stop looking on in amusement, all adding to the humour.
