One fascinating painting with the title Green Giant depicts a green Leyland Octopus 22/01 lorry unloading its cargo of cider via a long pipe at a bottling plant in Taunton in the late 1950s. Produced in 1949 it originally carried the livery of Courage Breweries, including a golden cockerel above the cab. The tank, manufactured by WP Butterfield, had a capacity of 80 barrels.
