Colin Prior Task Station Desk Calendar Overview

The Colin Prior Elementals Task Station desk calendar showcases celebrated and prolific Scottish landscape photographer Colin Prior ‘s exceptional work. His exploration of the different photographic format emphasises the relationship between the primal elements of the landscape as he seeks out patterns in the landscape and the hidden links between reality and the imagination. The twelve wide format images come with the photographer’s personal background notes, underpinned with a powerful conservation message.

Aonach Meadhoin and Sgùrr Fhuarail and Ciste Dubh, Loch Cluanie, Glen Shiel are shown in January’s image. The dramatic landscape of Glen Shiel is quintessential of the West Highlands. Magnificent mountain scenery is composed of towering peaks rising steeply from lochs and glens. A feeling of seclusion is engendered by the narrow and winding glen that constrains the view, then suddenly reveals the spear-like cone of Faochag and the pinnacles of the Saddle. This practical and sturdy desk calendar comprises a heavy glossy easel with a useful planner pad for notes and appointments which runs along the base stand of the easel.
