Operations Manager Appointment

Rose Calendars are pleased to announce that Mark Shipley joined the company on Monday 2nd December 2013 in the role of Operations Manager.

The appointment is a new position within the company in which Mark will work closely with Managers and Directors supporting operations, advancing business development projects and contributing to the implementation and delivery of the company’s strategic plan, focused at maintaining Rose Calendars as the premier manufacturer of promotional calendars.

With 26 years of experience in the Printing Industry, Mark joins Rose Calendars most recently from a national printing retailer, where, as UK Production Manager he was responsible for their Copy and Print Centre offering in all their UK stores.

In previous appointments Mark has worked as a supervisor and a manager in a number of small and medium size commercial printers.

With a strong customer focus, qualifications in business management and processes, and wide experience in the industry from sales and customer service through to digital printing (including online job submission/ordering), Mark has been a driving force behind technical business applications that have seen previous employers’ develop and take advantage of changing technology and markets.

We are very pleased to have found someone with Mark’s specific skills and experience. He is now based at the Company’s Head Quarters in Colchester, Essex.
