National Family Business Day

National Family Business Day 2021We are delighted to promote today as National Family Business Day, where the UK family business community come together to celebrate the impact these businesses have.
2021 has not been a normal year and with so much uncertainty and implications for business created by the global pandemic, never has there been a time better suited to bring everyone together across the country to celebrate the role that family firms play.
National Family Business Day is a great way for the community to work as one voice in raising the profile of the sector, showcasing the diversity of family firms, the history and heritage that are the very essence of family firms and to highlight the continued innovation, investment and entrepreneurship demonstrated by family businesses, young and old, to remain relevant as a business today.
With around 5 million family firms in the UK employing around 13 million people, the family business sector is one that deserves to be celebrated. It is hoped that businesses will come together today to put family firms on the map.
Now in its eighth year, the day is organised by Family Business United. Rose Calendars have been associate members for over five years, and during this period have enjoyed affiliation, friendship, training and support from the organisation. As a company with a fourth generation family member at the helm, we relish the values and benefits being part of a family business brings. This is also something we can pass on to our customers who benefit from quality, commitment and good customer service when dealing with our family firm.
